Discovering Inspiration

The journey of creating music is often fueled by inspiration from various sources. Recently, while exploring YouTube for instrumentals, I stumbled upon Meek Mill's track "Traumatized," produced by the legendary Boi-1da. The energy radiating from this piece struck a chord with me, transporting me into a creative state of mind. This experience was akin to the sensation of 'jacking for beats,' where one seeks the perfect sound to evoke emotions and stir creativity. It’s fascinating how a song can ignite new ideas and push artists to express their thoughts and feelings through music.

Collaborating with a Vision

Motivated by the intensity of the track, I wasted no time and hit the studio with my brother, @kartier281. Together, we aimed to channel the emotions we were feeling into a fresh piece. It was essential to convey the themes that resonated with us, allowing us to get certain things off our chests. With a collaborative spirit, we merged our styles, resulting in a track that we were both incredibly proud of. The final product emerged with fiery energy, encapsulating our experiences and thoughts.

Bringing the Music to Life

After dropping our track on SoundCloud, the next step was to create a visual representation of our work. Early Friday morning, I reached out to my videographer and arranged for him to come over to capture our vibe. We decided on a parking garage, providing a clean backdrop that highlighted the essence of Houston city life. A huge shoutout to @528visuals for their incredible work in bringing our vision to life through visual storytelling. The setting not only complimented our music but also added a level of authenticity, showcasing the raw energy we intended to portray.
